He is waiting for you

Jesus is waiting for you…
At the prepared altar table, in the dim glow of candlelight, He waits for you.

He says: “I did not come here to be a burden or a ceremony. I am here because I miss you.”

Jesus never grows tired of you; He is never weary of you. While you are often busy with the activities of the day, Jesus waits for you in the silence of the Eucharist, never tiring of waiting for that moment when you pass before the tabernacle.

A visit to the Eucharist is not a ritual; it is an encounter with Someone who loves deeply. It is a gentle invitation. He does not ask for your perfection or for a long list of prayers. He desires only your friendship.

Like a friend waiting beside a table, He is ready to listen to everything in your heart—your great anxieties and your little joys.

“I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer;”.”
