Description: Let us meditate for a while today, looking at the crucified figure. What prompted Him to take on this terrible pain? What kept Him from breaking down in the midst of insults and abuse? Why did the last blood and water flow from His pierced heart despite His wounds? There is only one answer: He loved me so much. The fact that He cuts Himself on the altar with the same sacrifice every day is a sign of His love for me. How many days and nights have we spent chasing after a little love that does not exist, sighing over a love that has been rejected, and blaming ourselves for being unwanted and worthless. How can I still blame myself while sitting next to this crucified One who loved me so deeply? No, we are not worthless, unloved, unwanted, or abandoned by anyone. He who took all my humiliations and pains in his own body for me, clings to me from the cross and says to me, "I thirst." Not for water, but for your soul, which, ignoring me, runs after human love, honor, and joy. From our hearts attached to this cross, we can say to you, "I love you, boundless love. I am yours." ☦️Good Friday☦️
